Join Capital Power's Supply and Trading Accounting team as an Accounting Specialist. You will support our energy trading business by ensuring accurate accounting results and cash flow through analysis, reconciliation, and collaboration with various internal and external partners. What we are looking for

Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
Analyze trading transactions for power, natural gas, and environmental markets
Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Trading, Risk) and external counterparties
Become proficient with energy trading and risk management (ETRM) systems
Assist with process improvements and new business initiatives
3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in energy trading finance
