Cost Accountant, Lead

As a Lead Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for accurate and timely accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, playing a key role in the month-end close process. You will collaborate with various departments to provide essential financial analysis and support business strategy, ensuring operational and financial excellence.

• Perform month-end closing duties and general ledger account reconciliations
• Analyze inventory, purchase price, production variances, and manufacturing cost center spending
• Collaborate with Purchasing to update standard material costs
• Calculate and analyze standard labor, activity, and overhead rates
• Assist with financial reporting, audits, and ad-hoc analysis
• 5+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
