Financial Controller II

Truist is seeking a Financial Controller II to provide quality-assured financial reporting for Corporate Real Estate activities. This role serves as a subject matter expert for lease accounting under ASC 842, managing reporting, risk management, financial reporting, and accounting controls. You will review lease contracts, work with lease administration, and ensure proper accounting for real estate transactions.

• Subject matter expert for lease accounting under ASC 842
• Review lease contracts and create accounting schedules
• Consult with lease administration and transaction managers
• Prepare and review monthly financial reporting and analysis
• Oversee internal control structure for lease accounting
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives
