Senior Accountant

HUB International is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the insurance operations of its Specialty Program Group. This role involves executing general accounting, reconciliation, and reporting functions, partnering with various teams to ensure financial data integrity and support month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills, insurance industry knowledge, and the ability to resolve complex reconciling items.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations
• Perform month-end and year-end close activities
• Monitor and manage unapplied cash and unearned commission
• Support Blackline reconciliation processes
• Assist with financial statement review and variance analysis
• Mentor and guide Staff Accountants
