Accounting Specialist

Dow is seeking an Accounting Specialist in Sao Paulo, Brazil, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements. This role supports leadership with complex accounting analyses, manages general ledger functions, and prepares financial statement footnotes. You will also assist with closing processes, implement accounting policies, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS
• Manage general ledger, financial scorecards, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial statement footnotes and supporting schedules
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Implement accounting policies and procedures
• Perform fluctuation analysis and financial statement analytics
