Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

Ingredion is seeking a Senior Accountant to support corporate accounting functions, focusing on global investments, M&A transactions, and financial system integrations. This hybrid role in Westchester, IL, involves assisting with accounting for investments, joint ventures, acquisitions, and divestitures, preparing financial reporting footnotes, and cross-training in areas like hedging and pensions. The position also plays a key role in integrating acquired companies into SAP Central Finance (CFIN) and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements.

• Assist with accounting for corporate and global investments, IP, intangible assets, and acquisitions
• Support M&A transaction accounting and integration into SAP Central Finance (CFIN)
• Prepare financial reporting footnotes and assist with technical memos
• Coordinate with external auditors and cross-functional teams on accounting implications of deals
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX internal controls
• Cross-train in pensions, hedging, and leases
