About this role
Westlake is seeking a part-time Tax Specialist to join their Corporate Tax team for approximately 25-30 hours per week. This role will focus on project-oriented assignments, providing exposure to direct and indirect taxation, including federal, state, local, and international tax return preparation and research.
What we are looking for
6- Assist with compilation of data for tax returns, payments, and provisions
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns using tax software
- Maintain tax depreciation schedules using specialized software
- Support miscellaneous tax returns (GST, sales and use, property)
- Assist with tax research, planning, and special projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills
