Senior Accountant, Staff

Simon is seeking a Senior Accountant to review, maintain, and analyze the general ledger and financial statements for assigned mall properties. This role involves preparing monthly financial analysis, annual budgets, and financial forecasts, as well as distributing reports to partners and internal personnel. The Senior Accountant will also assist with year-end closes, special projects, and external audits, and mentor junior staff.

• Review and maintain general ledger accounts for assigned properties
• Prepare monthly financial analysis, budget, and forecast variance analysis
• Prepare annual operating budget and periodic financial forecasts
• Distribute reporting packages to joint-venture partners
• Participate in year-end close and assist external auditors
• Mentor less experienced staff
