General Accounting Analyst

Sandvik Mining is seeking a General Accounting Analyst in Guadalajara, Mexico. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate accounting operations of entities supported by the Business Service Center, adhering to company policies and internal controls. You will be responsible for reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and supporting audits.

• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations of subledgers (AP/AR and Cash)
• Daily and monthly reconciliation of assigned bank accounts
• Prepare and post journal entries with necessary support and approvals
• Prepare financial statements and ensure timely release for consolidation
• Analyze financial metrics and take action to resolve deviations
• Support internal and external audits and process improvement projects
