Senior Accountant

Howden, a global insurance group, is seeking a Senior Accountant to own and execute the month-end close process in their rapidly scaling US arm. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and process improvements within a dynamic corporate environment.

• Own assigned areas of the monthly close cycle
• Prepare complex journal entries for payroll, accruals, and fixed assets
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and review trial balance
• Process vendor invoices and manage expense reimbursements
• Extract data for financial reports and assist with external reporting
• Participate in system integrations and process improvements
