Staff Accountant

Brown & Brown is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage general ledger operations, financial reporting, and forecasting. This role involves performing reconciliations, supporting closing processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. You will also contribute to budgeting, process improvement, and ad-hoc reporting.

• Perform daily general ledger operations, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Analyze financial variances and identify performance improvement opportunities
• Ensure general ledger accounts comply with GAAP
• Assist with budgeting, FP&A, and audit support
