Sales & Use Tax Analyst

RaceTrac is seeking an analytical and driven early-career professional to join their tax team as a Sales & Use Tax Analyst. This role involves reviewing sales and use tax returns, maintaining general ledger accounts, researching tax laws, and identifying planning opportunities across various business lines. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning and process improvement.

• Perform tax accounting and analytical functions including research and report preparation
• Review and analyze general ledger activity for discrepancies
• Support monthly sales and use tax compliance processes
• Utilize technology for tax audits, compliance, and planning projects
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure tax treatment
• Research, interpret, and apply tax laws and regulations
