Tax Manager

Central Transport is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee federal and state tax compliance for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts. This role involves managing tax return preparation, ensuring regulatory adherence, leading process improvements, and assisting with quarterly income tax provisions. The position is based in Warren, MI, and requires collaboration with accounting and finance teams, as well as mentoring junior staff.

• Lead preparation and review of federal and state tax returns
• Research complex tax issues and provide guidance
• Assist with ASC 740 quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations
• Develop and refine workflows to increase efficiency
• Partner with accounting and finance teams
• Mentor junior staff and oversee work quality
