Accountant

Badger Meter is seeking an Accountant to perform complex accounting assignments, including general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role supports the Milwaukee location and subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely financial data accumulation and reporting in compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.

• Perform complex accounting and financial analysis
• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare reports
• Conduct account reconciliations and audit work papers
• Monitor closing activities and ensure SOX compliance
• Assist with accounts payable, fixed assets, and tax
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 3+ years of experience
