Join the NC Department of Adult Correction as a Financial Analyst I to support the integrity of state and federal financial resources. You will assist in preparing comprehensive financial reports, managing accruals, and performing internal audits to ensure compliance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
What we are looking for 6
- Assist in preparing the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
- Manage accrual processes and year-end journal entries
- Perform internal audits of payment transactions
- Identify areas for cost avoidance
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on claims payment issues
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
