Financial Analyst I

As a Financial Analyst I, you will provide essential financial analysis and reporting for the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. You will monitor budgets, analyze financial activity, and ensure the accuracy of financial data to support key management decisions. This role involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to improve financial processes.

• Analyze financial activity and monitor budgets for departmental operations and sponsored programs
• Prepare journal entries and produce financial statements
• Monitor sponsored program expenditures and award periods
• Reconcile departmental accounts and sponsored program ledgers
• Review and reconcile daily cash, check, and credit card activity
• Communicate financial findings and recommend process improvements
