Assistant Controller, Investment Accounting

Barings is seeking a motivated Assistant Controller for their Global Client Operations team to oversee multiple portfolios and client reporting, with a focus on the Real Estate Equity group. This role involves performing accounting and finance fiduciary responsibilities, managing financial statements, and collaborating with investment teams and senior management.

• Perform accounting and finance fiduciary responsibility over private real estate investments
• Review and maintain partnership waterfalls for JV and Fund level entities
• Maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Prepare and review trial balances
• Perform quarterly close process
• Manage client deliverables, capital calls, and distributions
