About this role

LSU System is seeking a Financial Accountant to compile, prepare, review, and submit accounting transactions and reports for the LSU System. This role involves governmental and institutional reporting, departmental accounting, budget preparation assistance, and serving as an asset custodian. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience may substitute.

What we are looking for

Compile, prepare, review, and submit accounting transactions and reports
Assist in preparing governmental and institutional reports
Complete accounting and business transactions in Workday ERP system
Monitor and reconcile ledgers for departmental and LSU Foundation accounts
Assist with budget preparation for LSU system campuses
Serve as Asset Custodian and process vendor payments
