Senior Accountant

PacBio is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant for its accounting team in Menlo Park, CA. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the financial close process, including monthly closes, quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance. The position involves technical accounting, transaction analysis, and process improvement within a fast-growing life science technology company.

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures
• Oversee accounting for fixed assets, prepaids, and intangibles
• Apply GAAP and internal policies, prepare accounting white papers
• Liaise with business partners for data collection
• Prepare SEC reporting footnotes and schedules
• Support accounting procedure and internal control enhancements
