Accountant III

The Oklahoma Water Resources Board is seeking a full-time Accountant III to manage daily financial transactions, handle unclaimed funds and billing, and assist with procurement. This role ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant financial operations for the agency, supporting reliable water resource management for Oklahomans.

• Manage daily deposits and maintain accurate financial records
• Review unclaimed deposit lists and secure agency revenues
• Assist with requisitions, purchase orders, and tracking change orders
• Prepare reports and support operational efficiency and compliance
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and governmental accounting standards
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field plus three years of accounting experience
