Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

The AES Corporation, a global power company, seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to prepare and analyze financial statements and disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, offering exposure to accounting, reporting, and regulatory matters within the energy industry.

• Support preparation, review, and submission of financial reporting deliverables
• Partner with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Prepare and coordinate timely and accurate external filings
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting procedures
• Monitor emerging accounting guidance and SEC developments
• Assist in maintaining an effective internal control environment and SOX compliance
