Staff Accountant

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage fixed assets, cash, and month-end close activities. This role involves ensuring financial record accuracy, preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and analyzing budget variances. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and strong Excel skills.

• Manage fixed asset lifecycle and register
• Prepare and reconcile cash entries and bank statements
• Execute month-end close activities including accruals and prepayments
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations
• Analyze budget-to-actual and year-over-year variances
• Ensure SOX compliance and respond to ad hoc requests
