Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Vertex is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their team in Boston, MA. This hybrid role partners with Commercial Manufacturing and Tech Ops functions, managing financial planning processes, providing strategic insights, and supporting decision-making for investments and resource allocation. The position also involves monthly/quarterly accounting close and improving financial activity efficiency.

• Manage financial planning processes (budget, forecasts, LRP) for assigned functions
• Serve as a key finance business partner to CMTO/BSMO leadership
• Provide decision support for investments, trade-offs, and resource allocation
• Conduct financial performance management and develop KPIs
• Perform monthly/quarterly accounting close for expenses and accruals
• Partner with business leaders on capital expense budget management
