Accounting Manager, Fringe Benefits & Payroll Banking

The University of Southern California (USC) is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee fringe benefit accounting, payroll deductions, and payroll banking activities. This role involves managing a team of five accounting and payroll staff, providing technical expertise, and playing a key role in process redesign and automation projects. • Manage fringe benefit accounting for over 20,000 employees
• Oversee payroll deductions, ledger reconciliations, and banking activities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of five accounting and payroll staff
• Drive process redesign, automation, and technology initiatives
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GAAP and university policies
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on audit and compliance matters
