Sr. Accountant

Cars Commerce is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting and Reporting team in Chicago. This role involves contributing to the monthly close process, preparing financial reports, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 3+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Participate in internal and external financial reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
• Drive process improvements and analytical tools
• Develop and implement accounting policies
• Execute internal controls and partner with auditors
• 3+ years of experience with CPA and US GAAP/SEC expertise
