Accounting Analyst

Saputo is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their Plant Accounting team in Edmonton, AB. This role is responsible for analyzing and evaluating plant accounting transactions and reporting, contributing to accurate financial statements and forecasts. You will play a key part in identifying areas for process improvement and supporting the plant's financial operations.

• Prepare weekly P&L forecasts and activity management reports
• Perform period-end journal entries, financial statement analysis, and variance reporting
• Analyze accounting transactions and reports for accuracy
• Recommend process improvements for transaction entry and reporting
• Assist with budgeting, inventory control, and year-end close
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and audit preparation
