Financial Analyst

The University of British Columbia is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Okanagan Finance department. This role involves performing general accounting, budgetary, and financial analysis to aid in budgeting and decision-making. You will also provide data and system expertise, and support financial processes and training for the campus.

• Support campus-wide budgeting and forecasting processes
• Develop templates and collect data for reporting
• Investigate budget variances and identify root causes
• Provide data and system technical expertise
• Collaborate on financial models for analysis and decision-making
• Assist with general accounting and internal control support
