Senior Financial Analyst - Controllership SEC Reporting

General Motors is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for its Controllership team, focusing on SEC reporting. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, researching accounting pronouncements, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial information to regulatory bodies.

• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures per SEC regulations
• Research and interpret complex accounting pronouncements and SEC rules
• Lead review of other analysts' work and drive reporting processes
• Collaborate with Legal, Treasury, and Accounting Operations
• Manage Disclosure checklist and management representation letter process
• Support external audit process with documentation and explanations
