Cost Accountant

As a Cost Accountant at Cemstone, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on key manufacturing costs, including inventory valuation, production rates, and material expenses. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining standard costs, processing monthly allocations, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory master data. • Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production run rates, and manufacturing variances
• Develop and maintain standard costs and process monthly cost allocations
• Create, maintain, and audit inventory master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Coordinate new item setup, item revisions, and product obsolescence
• Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax returns
• Visit manufacturing facilities to understand production processes and cost drivers
