Assistant Controller, Tax

Serve as the primary authority on tax compliance for a major public research university, managing federal, state, local, and international tax obligations. You will maintain financial records, process payments, ensure audit readiness, and interpret evolving regulations. This role involves training staff, developing strategic initiatives, and coordinating with external counsel during audits.

• Manage comprehensive tax compliance for a large university
• Prepare and reconcile tax records and process payments
