Accountant

Formerra is seeking a Staff Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting processes. This role involves month-end close activities, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accounts payable support, and tax-related accounting. The position reports to the Assistant Corporate Controller and requires a detail-oriented individual with strong foundational accounting knowledge.

• Prepare and post general ledger journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliation packages
• Assist with tax filings and tax-related accounting entries
• Support annual audits and compliance requests
• Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately per GAAP
