Principal Accountant

Sierra Space is seeking a Principal Accountant to manage financial records, prepare complex financial statements, and ensure regulatory compliance. This senior role involves leading month-end close processes, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and developing internal controls. You will also serve as a subject matter expert on technical accounting issues and mentor junior accountants.

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights
• Develop, implement, and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
• Address complex accounting issues including revenue recognition and lease accounting
• Lead audit processes and coordinate with auditors
• Mentor and train accounting staff
