Financial Reporting Accountant

Chord Energy is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their team in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and SEC filings. The position offers a hybrid work schedule and is ideal for individuals with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least one year of public accounting experience.

• Assist with preparation of financial statements and schedules
• Compile monthly and quarterly variance analysis
• Assist with compilation of 10-K and 10-Q drafts
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across all SEC filings
• Record monthly journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Coordinate with independent auditors
