Cost Accountant

Brooks Automation is seeking a Cost Accountant to support manufacturing and inventory accounting processes. This role involves cost analysis, financial reporting, inventory valuation, and partnering with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate data-driven decision-making. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in cost accounting, and advanced Excel skills.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Analyze inventory aging, turns, shrink, scrap, and MRB inventory
• Analyze work order variances to standard cost and improve work order closure
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for cost accounting processes
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Finance teams
• Prepare and present financial analysis to management and executive leadership
