Financial Accountant

Synthomer plc is seeking a Financial Accountant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to manage daily financial system operations and ensure accuracy in line with group and international accounting standards. This role supports financial and compliance reporting, prepares schedules for financial closures, and collaborates with the group finance team.

• Perform monthly/quarterly financial closing
• Execute recurring journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain reconciliations in BPC, Statutory Accounts, and SAP S4
• Support internal and external audits
• Participate in physical inventories and asset sighting
• Calculate weekly margins and investigate non-routine transactions
