Accountant/Senior Accountant, Accounting & Finance

FTI Consulting is seeking an Accountant for their EMEA Finance team in Milan, Italy. This role supports the EMEA region by managing internal US GAAP reporting and external statutory GAAP reporting across multiple countries, including balance sheet reconciliations and VAT reporting. You will coordinate with external firms and manage statutory audits.

• Manage monthly accounting close processes including journal entries, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations under SOX requirements
• Assist with preparation and finalization of annual statutory accounts
• Manage VAT returns and other local compliance requirements
• Liaise with external auditors and outsourced accountants/tax advisors
• Qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE and strong Excel skills
