Specialist Accounting & Reporting

Omya is seeking a Specialist Accounting & Reporting to manage daily and monthly accounting operations, including GL accounting, month-end closing, and financial reporting. This role involves acting as a point of contact for statutory audits, resolving complex accounting issues, and contributing to process improvements and system implementations. You will ensure the accuracy of financial postings and reconciliations, aligning with IFRS/GAAP and company policies.

• Execute daily and monthly B2C accounting operations, including GL, month-end close, and reporting
• Support statutory financial audits and respond to auditor requests
• Resolve complex accounting escalations and perform root-cause analysis
• Contribute to standardization and continuous improvement of accounting processes
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reconciliations per IFRS/GAAP
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external stakeholders
