Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst provides advanced financial analysis, budget planning, forecasting, and reporting for Enterprise Technology at the University of Texas at Austin. This role supports leadership by evaluating financial performance, monitoring funds, and identifying opportunities to improve financial operations, including overseeing service center activities.

• Coordinate and support annual budget process, including operating budgets, forecasts, and financial planning scenarios
• Monitor and analyze balances, revenues, expenditures, and budget-to-actual results
• Evaluate financial processes, reporting methods, and internal controls
• Administer service centers and charge-back activities, including rate development and billing
• Interpret and apply financial policies, analyze staffing and financial decisions
• Serve as a financial resource and collaborative partner to departments and service owners
