Accountant

Valeo is seeking a Tax Specialist to manage personal property tax and state/local tax filings across various jurisdictions. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, administering tax abatements and incentive programs, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to support tax audits and process improvements.

• Prepare, review, and file personal property tax returns
• Administer tax abatements and incentive programs
• Ensure compliance with state and local tax regulations
• Reconcile tax accounts to the general ledger
• Research state and local tax laws and filing requirements
• Identify process improvement opportunities
