About this role
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Financial Analyst I to assist with the preparation of the agency's Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). This role involves supporting accrual processes, lease accounting, year-end journal entries, and various cost reports. The position also plays a part in developing and updating fiscal policies to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
What we are looking for

- Support accruals, lease accounting, and year-end journal entries
- Prepare cost reports, monthly allocations, and financial reports
- Perform complex monthly reconciliations
- Assist with internal control documentation
- Develop and update fiscal policies for compliance
