Senior Accountant

Join Tyson Foods' Corporate Accounting team as a Senior Accountant, supporting External Financial Reporting and Benefits Accounting. This role is crucial for preparing SEC filings and earnings materials, and managing benefits accounting, including stock-based compensation and pension plans. It's a great opportunity to gain exposure to SEC reporting and technical accounting in a large corporate setting.

• Assist in preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q) and earnings releases
• Own accounting for benefits plans, stock-based compensation, and pension plans
• Perform iXBRL research and tagging for SEC filings
• Ensure accuracy and audit-readiness of external financial reports
• Understand and apply SOX 404 requirements and internal controls
• Partner with internal departments, consultants, actuaries, and auditors
