Sr. Manager, Financial Accounting

Lead financial accounting processes for CarMax Auto Finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role involves overseeing the accounting team, managing external audits, and partnering with various departments to provide critical financial data and support for SEC filings and reporting.

• Oversee cyclical accounting processes including GL closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Review work of the Financial Accounting Team
• Partner with Home Office Accounting, Treasury, and other departments
• Lead external audit processes and SOX 404 testing
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements
• Lead and manage a team of accounting associates
