Senior Accountant

Valmont, a Fortune 1000 company, seeks a Senior Accountant to support financial operations at its Houston, TX manufacturing facility. This role involves month-end closing, general ledger maintenance, cost and inventory accounting, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with plant leadership and corporate finance teams to ensure accurate financial records and support operational decision-making.

• Perform full cycle month, quarter, and year-end closing activities
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze financial variances
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management summaries
• Support inventory accounting, including valuation and physical inventory reconciliations
• Maintain fixed asset ledgers and capital expenditure tracking
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operational cost analysis
