Accountant I (Hybrid) - Controller's Office

Join our Controller's Office team as an Accountant I, where you will be responsible for reconciling all university operational bank accounts. This hybrid role involves preparing general ledger entries, analyzing transactions, managing bank exceptions, and supporting auditors. You'll play a key part in ensuring financial accuracy and compliance within a dynamic university environment.

• Reconcile operational bank accounts and analyze transactions
• Prepare general ledger entries and ad hoc bank transactions
• Manage bank exceptions including positive pay and returned payments
• Prepare reports for auditors and assist with fiscal year-end
• Bachelor's degree in business or accounting preferred
• 1 year of relevant banking or account reconciliation experience
