About this role

As a Sr. Tax Analyst in Jakarta, you will ensure compliance with all local indirect taxes, including VAT, GST, sales tax, and excise tax. You will manage the timely filing of returns and payments, accurately report financial statements, and handle interactions with local tax authorities. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting entries for taxes and a commitment to continuous improvement within the tax function.

What we are looking for

Manage indirect tax compliance, including VAT, GST, sales tax, and excise tax
Ensure timely filing of tax returns and payments
Prepare monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations for indirect tax accounts
Support internal controls and compliance with local tax laws and SOX reporting
Liaise with local tax authorities for audits and documentation
Identify opportunities for process improvement and tax optimization
