About this role

ERCOT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to perform comprehensive electrical engineering analysis and technical support for power grid stability assessments, NERC reliability studies, and transmission planning. This role involves utilizing system modeling techniques and study tools to evaluate system performance, conduct stability analyses, and formulate solutions to ensure grid reliability.

What we are looking for

Perform Batch stability screening studies for Large Load interconnection
Design and perform stability assessments using power system simulation tools
Support NERC FAC-002 studies for Large Load interconnections
Identify stability constraints and develop mitigation recommendations
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and study documentation
Support process improvements and automation efforts for planning workflows
