Financial Accountant (City Controller's Office [CCO Dept.], Non-Civil Service)

This role involves leading audit engagements, providing expert guidance on governmental accounting standards, and training accounting staff across city departments.

• Prepare Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR)
• Prepare Schedule of Expenditures of Federal and State Awards
• Lead external and internal audit engagements
• Subject matter expert in governmental accounting standards
• Provide direction and training to accounting staff
• Interpret and apply GAAP to complex governmental accounting system
