Associate Specialist, Private Equity Accounting

Northern Trust is seeking an Associate Specialist in Private Equity Accounting to join their Chicago team. This role involves operating as a subject matter expert, providing comprehensive consulting, and executing strategic initiatives within the finance function. The position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a preference for candidates with accounting or real estate fund accounting experience.

• Subject area expert providing consulting and leadership
• Conducts preliminary analysis and interacts with committees/management
• Develops, implements, and administers programs within functional areas
• 2-3+ years of staff accounting or real estate fund accounting experience
• Experience with real estate industry clients required
• Proficiency in Investran, Yardi, and MS Suite (Excel/Access/Word) preferred
