Technical Accounting Analyst

As a Technical Accounting Analyst at General Motors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting by analyzing complex transactions and preparing technical accounting memos. You will collaborate with various finance and business teams to interpret accounting standards and drive process improvements. • Prepare and review technical accounting memos for complex transactions under US GAAP and IFRS
• Partner cross-functionally with Controllership, Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, GPSC, and Legal
• Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial reporting for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K)
• Drive modernization of existing processes and implementation of global accounting policies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of IFRS and experience with SAP
