Staff or Senior Accountant

Join Talen Energy's accounting team in Allentown, PA, as a Staff or Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for the accounting, reporting, and analysis of plant activities, supporting US GAAP policies, and maintaining internal controls. • Prepare journal entries for energy, fuel, fixed assets, inventory, O&M, prepaids, and investment activity
• Maintain general ledger, fixed assets, and inventory systems
• Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and flux analysis
• Support audit requests and financial statement preparation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FERC, NERC, OSHA, and other regulations
